Caol Ila 30 Year Old “Kinship 2020 Release” Single Barrel 42.4% Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky 1989 700ml

Part of a very rare collection from Hunter Laing known as The Kinship, these bottles were originally intended for sale at Ardnahoe Distillery's gift shop. This single cask Caol Ila 30 Year shows honeydew melon on the nose with Maldon sea salt, smoked ham, bandages, candied almonds and Islay peat smoked. On the palate there is a gristy malty note, lime zest, Seville orange, new leather, fine tobacco and a typical Caol Ila ashiness leading to a wonderfully refined finish.
